The Space: Lyckhem

Nestled in the heart of the stunning Swedish archipelago, Lyckhem Skärgårdsretreat is a hidden gem that offers a unique and immersive retreat experience.

At Lyckhem we have a sauna, gym, fire pit, 3 yoga shalas, a large dining hall and hang-out are including endless acres of wild forest for ourselves. We can't think of a better place to retreat!

The upstairs shala is the beating heart of our experience here and where we meet for yoga, breathwork, dance, kirtan and sharings. If the weather allows, we will also gather at the beautiful outdoor deck even closer to nature.

The natural beauty that envelopes Lyckhem offers a peaceful and serene landscape to retreat. The deep forest is around the corner and closeby we find plenty of opportunities to dip in the refreshing Baltic Sea from sand beaches and cliffs.

Lyckhem Skärgårdsretreat is more than just a place to escape; it's a sanctuary for the soul, a celebration of nature, and an opportunity to rediscover the profound beauty of life in all its simplicity. You can read more about Lyckhem by following this link.

We, Simon & Martina, share a vision. A vision of the Way of the Heart. What if we all could live a little more from this place - listen a little more to the wisdom of our own hearts - rather than living from our heads and listen to authority around us. Maybe the deepest longing we all carry is to Love. And our ability to love and be loved is innate: we just have to remember.

By co-creating this retreat, we want to offer you an experience of your own essence and the devotional path of Bhakti. Rather than guiding you through different concepts and ideas, we will support you to arrive at the one place of wisdom no one can ever take away from you: your own heart and it's innate wisdom.

MARTINA TÖRNVALL, a devoted yogini, breathworker and cacao lover, has over ten years of experience in the holistic field. Coming from a background as a corporate lawyer, she decided to make a leap of faith and embarked on an inner journey which lead her to explore different styles of yoga, tantra, breathwork, bodywork amongst other healing modalities. Her spiritual quest has also lead her to experience different indigenous traditions and healing plants.

Now, having created over 100 yoga retreats in India, France, Sweden, Costa Rica and Spain, she is passionate about sharing these techniques and tools with others which ultimately saved her life. Her purpose is to support people to wake up and regain their inner power to live a more authentic life. Known for her calm voice, nurturing presence and feminine essence, she guides you safely through every part of the experience.

A world traveler with a nomadic lifestyle, Martina spends most of her time in the Pachamama Eco Village: a retreat haven in Costa Rica, and her motherland Sweden. The last years she has also immersed herself into mantra, sharing kirtan and cacao ceremonies all over the world.

SIMON GLÖDE is a multi-talented musician, ceremony facilitator, and music producer who weaves ancestral sounds and energetic practices from around the world, creating transformative music and healing experiences.

Originally rooted in pop music, Simon's quest for depth and personal healing led him to explore tantra, yoga, and healing sounds, forming the basis for his unique approach to "Musical Ceremonies." Departing from conventional performances, the multi-instrumentalist and DJ seamlessly blend sing-along songs and Kirtan with contemporary storytelling and ecstatic dance, fostering communal experiences. Simon truly believes in the power of music to bring people together for positive change.

A musical nomad, Simon orchestrates musical gatherings worldwide. His ability to evoke the joy of music in both intimate and expansive settings, coupled with his undogmatic approach to spirituality, has established him as a household figure in the global spiritual music community. Actively releasing music on various streaming platforms, Simon is the founder of „the music shala“ and serves as a dedicated Sattva Yoga master teacher in the Himalayan lineage.

What is Bhakti?

Weaving the fabric of the heart with the divine, Bhakti, often translated as devotion or love, is a path to liberation through devotional practices.

Bhakti is devotion. True devotion comes from the heart when we create that loving relationships with the divine.

Bhakti is the way of the heart. This way is not bound by rigid rules; instead, it flows organically, expressing itself through prayer, song, dance, and acts of kindness.

Bhakti is a celebration of love - an unbridled surrender of the ego and a wholehearted devotion to the divine. From here, as we open our hearts in devotion, a sacred alchemy can happen, a dissolving of the illusion of separateness and revealing the profound oneness that underlies all of existence.

We will spend time during this retreat to dive into practices that nourishes our hearts and give space for more love, flow and abundance in our lives. Mixing the power of silence with more celebrative and uplifting practices, ultimately it is a journey back to the essence of your heart. In this retreat, the heart takes center stage, and we let the river of love flow freely.

Come celebrate Love and Life with us!

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music"
